Naomi Castellano is the practice's information specialist and designs the searches that a review stands on. She holds a master's degree in information science and has built and translated search strategies across the major bibliographic databases, run grey-literature and citation-chasing work, and documented every step so a search can be reproduced years later.
She treats a search as something that has to be defensible, not just comprehensive: balanced sensitivity and precision, a strategy that survives a PRESS peer review, and records that reconcile cleanly through deduplication into a PRISMA flow diagram. She writes the searching, screening, and reference-management guidance on this site.
